PRESENTATION AND LOCATION

Hotel Acquaverde situated on via Balbi, occupies the last three storeys of a late 17th century aristocratic building which used to be the of wealthy families belonging to Genoa's merchant class. Currently the building accommodates several offices as well as the hotel. There are still signs of its past splendour: some interesting Baroque frescoes can still be seen on the ceiling in some of the rooms.
